Internet:- Internet is a huge network of computer that links many different types of computer all over the world. It is the network of network that share a common mechanism for addressing computers and a common set of combination protocols for combination between two computer an the network. In this generation internet is the very important part of human life. 90% works are done with the help of internet.

         How can Internet Works:- 


Internet is a pipe line that carries data between computers. Internet can potentially link your computer to any other computer. Anyone with access to the internet can exchange text from a data pictures, audio. The internet works because every computer connect to it user the same set of rules and processor also known as protocol used by internet are called TCP/IP. (Transmission control protocol)
             (Internet Protocol)

For sending a large block of data to another machine. The following sequence of sets are performed.

1. At the source computer the message is divided into little data package by TCP.
2. Each Package is given a number serial than is 1,2,3,4,
3. IP put the destination addressing information on such package.
4. The destination computer receive the package in order.If the package is lost or damaged. It is demanded again. The package are assembled in the order of their number and the original message is obtained.

Advantages Of Internet:-

1. Always Available:- Internet operates 24 hours 7 days a week. you do not need to wait to access any application information from internet.

     2. Communication:-   Sending message to and receiving message from other computer internet user through the E-mail. Some of website providing these services are Yahoo mail.com, G-mail.com etc.

   

    3.  Downloading Software:- You can download games, music, videos, movies and a host of other entertainment software from the internet most of which are free.

   4.   Results:-  Students can get their results from the various websites by sitting at Home. Some of the websites are CBSEResult.com, HP BOSE-ORG.com etc.

Disadvantages of Internet:-

1. Theft of personal information:- Electronic message send over the internet can be easily tracked revealing Who is talking to whom and what they are talking about.

2. Privacy and security issues:-  Privacy is the number of one reason that none online shopper do not shop online.

3. Slow for downloading long files so website containing large multimedia application. May take a lot of time to download.

There is  many advantages and disadvantages of internet. But Again Internet is the most important part of our life. I hope now you know what is internet and how it's work.
